The game I like the best is badminton. It is a very interesting game.
Badminton is not an easy game. The badminton player must have strong hands and legs. He must also be able to run and jump a lot.
Badminton is played between two parties. There may be one or two players on each side. The players have to move quickly to play the game well. I play this game everyday with my friends. Sometimes I watch other people playing the game.
I am not very good at the game. Yet, I enjoy playing it. I shall play this game even after I leave school.

How I spent my last holidays
I spent my last holidays in Singapore. I stayed at my friend’s house. Singapore is a big and beautiful city. There are many things to see and enjoy in Singapore.
My friend and I went to the harbours and we saw hundreds of ships. We enjoyed the boat rides and visited some of the island near Singapore, which is the Turtle Island. We also visited the Jurong Bird Park and the Botanical Garden.
At night we visited night market and parks. At we went around the city, I saw a lot of beautiful things, clothes in the shops. I brought a few things for my brothers, sisters and myself.
I returned home only one day before my school reopened. I really enjoyed my stay in Singapore.

Neighborliness
Last night, James’s house was broken into. Two men armed with guns entered James’s house through the back door at about 2a.m. Mr. Lim, James’s neighbor, woke up when he heard unusual noises, coming from next door.
Mr. Lim looked through a window and could see two masked men holding his neighbor’s family at gunpoint in the living room. Mr. Lim quickly alerted the police as well as another neighbor, Encik Latiff. The two men armed themselves with sticks and rods. They managed to get into James’s house through an open window.
Mr. Lim somehow got behind one of the robbers and held his rod against the man saying it was a gun. The two men quickly dropped their weapons. They were tied up.
Later, the police arrived, to take the robbers away. The robbers were arrested and James thanked Mr. Lim and Encik Latiff and their families for saving his family.

‘Lepak’
‘Lepak’ means hanging around town or at a shopping complex doing nothing. It is a mere waste of time.
This is a common problem amongst teenagers because teenagers, especially those who are not interested in studying. As they are not interested in studying, and they prefer to waste time gathering at shopping complexes with their friends to chit-chat or window shopping.
We can overcome this problem by making parents aware that it is important for them to keep an eye on their children. Parents should know their children are doing in school and they should also know if their children’s friend.
Teenagers should involve in other useful activities such as outdoor games, badminton, basketball, social work or vocational training.

A Class Party
It was the end of the final school term. The students in Form 1B planned to hold a class party. First of all, each one of us contributed RM2.
Some of the students volunteered to be in charge of the food and drinks. The food that they prepared is biscuits, cakes, sweets, mee-hoon and iced-drinks. Every student brought their own plate, glass, fork and spoon.
At 2.00pm, on the day of the party, all the boys met and re-arranged the furniture in the classroom. The girls prepared the food and drinks. They organized some games such as ‘Treasure Hunt’ and ‘Musical Chairs’, which everyone enjoyed.
After the games, they turned to delicious food and drinks. The Form 1B teacher gave away prizes to the winners of the games. Lastly, they took photos and went home happily after cleaning up the classroom. They felt the class party was a good way to end the year.
